Job Title: Mid/Senior Laravel Developer

Job Overview

We are looking for a talented Mid/Senior Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in PHP and Laravel, with the ability to build scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, and maintain high-quality code. You will collaborate with designers, frontend developers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver reliable software solutions.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

Experience

• Mid-Level: 2–5 years of Laravel development experience.
• Senior-Level: 5+ years of Laravel development experience.

Location

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Laravel.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Build scalable and secure backend architectures.
• Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
• Design and optimize MySQL database structures and queries.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
• Optimize application performance and security.
• Collaborate with frontend developers using Blade, Vue.js, or React.
• Implement authentication and authorization (Laravel Sanctum/Passport).
• Work with Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Deploy and maintain applications on Linux servers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–6+ years of professional experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong knowledge of Laravel 10/11/12.
• Excellent understanding of PHP, OOP, MVC Architecture, and Design Patterns.
• Strong experience with MySQL and database optimization.
• Experience building REST APIs and API integrations.
• Good understanding of JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with Vue.js or React.js is a plus.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Experience with Linux, Apache/Nginx, and deployment.
• Familiarity with Redis, Queues, Cron Jobs, and Caching.
• Experience with Docker is an advantage.
• Understanding of application security best practices.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Laravel Livewire or Inertia.js.
• Knowledge of WebSockets, Laravel Reverb, or Pusher.
• Experience with AWS, DigitalOcean, or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with unit testing and feature testing.
